Guest name keychains: name keychain for weddings

Guest name keychains

On the name keychain

One keychain per guest, each with their own name, doubles as a place card at the table. Ask the couple for the guest list as one name per line and turn it into files in a single bulk order.

Thank-you table sign: sign plate for weddings

Thank-you table sign

On the sign plate

A framed sign with the couple's names for the favour table or the welcome desk. It is a small add-on that makes the whole favour order feel planned.

Key holder for the couple: wall key holder for weddings

Key holder for the couple

On the wall key holder

A gift for the couple's first home rather than for the guests. Friends and family often club together for one, so it suits a higher price than a favour.

Who buys wedding favours

Most favour orders come from the couple themselves, a sibling, or a wedding planner working to a list. They usually reach out a month or two before the date, once the guest count settles. Planners and photographers who like your work come back with the next wedding, so treat the first order as an introduction.

There are really two kinds of buyer here. One wants a favour for every guest, which is a bulk job. The other wants a single gift for the couple, like a key holder for the new home or a sign plate for the reception. Offer both on the same post.

How to offer it

Put together two or three bundles rather than a long menu. For example: guest name keychains only; keychains plus a thank-you sign; or the full set with a couple's gift. Bundles make the decision easy and lift the order value.

For the guest list, ask for one message or one spreadsheet with a name on each line, spelled exactly as it should print. Before you print anything, send an approval picture of the longest name and the shortest name from the list. Once the couple says yes, paste the list into a bulk order and print in full beds.

If you take orders through messages, our guide to custom orders on Instagram and WhatsApp covers how to keep the details in one place.

Wedding order checklist

  • Confirm the spelling of both names on the couple's pieces, including any surname.
  • Agree the date for the final guest list and the delivery date.
  • Print one sample in the chosen colours and send a photo.
  • Count the finished pieces against the list before packing.
  • Pack each favour in the same order as the seating plan if the planner asks for it.

Questions

How far ahead should I take wedding favour orders?

Ask for the final guest list well before the wedding and agree a cut-off date for changes. Large favour orders take several print runs, so leave time to print, check every name and pack before the couple needs them.

How should I price a favour order?

Quote a price per piece that drops at a few set quantities, plus a minimum order. Add packaging, tags or ribbons as a separate line so the couple can choose. Our guide to pricing personalised prints walks through the sums.

Which colours work for weddings?

Match the wedding colours if the couple has them, or use white or cream for the base with gold, maroon or another accent colour for the names. Print one sample and send a photo before you run the whole list.

Can I print every guest's name without typing them one by one?

Yes. On the Seller plan, paste the guest list into a bulk order and you get a ZIP with one print-ready file per name.
