A name tag that fits any bag
The slim bag tag is a tall, narrow tag with the name running up its length. Because the text reads from bottom to top, a long name does not need tiny letters: the tag simply gets longer.
It has a raised border, a second line for a surname or class, and a choice of strap hole or slot. Five lettering styles are included, one of them for Devanagari names.
What you can change
The simple form asks for the name and an optional second line, each up to 12 characters. In All options you can change the lettering style, the width of the tag, the letter sizes and the gap between lines. Turn auto length off if you want every tag in a class set to be exactly the same length, and switch the border on or off. The strap can be a round hole, a slot or nothing at all.
Printing tips
- Print the tag in one colour and change filament for the name and border.
- Slim tags pack tightly on the bed, so a full class set can print in one go.
- If a name looks crowded, try the narrow Big Shoulders style, which fits more letters into the same length.

Back to school is the busy season. Contact schools, nurseries and sports clubs before term starts and offer a price per class. How long is the tag?
It scales with the name. With auto length on, the tag grows to fit the text. You can also change the width and turn auto length off in All options.
Can I add a second line?
Yes. Use the second line for a surname, class or team name, or leave it empty for a single line.
How does it attach to a bag?
Choose a round strap hole for a key ring or cord, or a slot for a flat strap. You can also choose no hole.
Can I sell tags made from this file?
Yes, on the Seller plan you can print and sell as many as you like through any channel, including bulk school orders.
